I want to live on a farm

Fresh Honey!
Honeybees gather nectar from a variety of flowers and place it into the hive’s honeycomb cells. The bees then mix the nectar with enzymes in a special pouch in their bodies, beginning the transformation of nectar into honey. Then these hardy workers evaporate a lot of the nectar’s water to thicken the liquid. When the honey is ready, the bees create a cap of beeswax on top of each cell. With most of the work complete, all you have to do is remove and extract the honey to enjoy its natural goodness.
Maple Syrup!
Great tasting maple syrup originates from the sugar maple tree (Acer saccharum from Canada and N.E. America) Making maple syrup is reliant on temperature. It can only occur when temperatures fluctuate from below to above freezing. The season begins during the spring thaw in mid-March and generally lasts through mid-April. The traditional method for collecting this sweet sap involves cutting a small hole in the tree then collecting the sap with a bucket. After sap is collected, boil over an open fire to make syrup.
